Established in 2020, Les Gars Cycling Club (LGCC) is a social group with a shared interest in riding, coffee, and banter. We’re a community centred around humility and most importantly, having fun.
Our purpose is to break a common stigma associating with cycling, the ‘MAMIL’ stereotype – middle-aged man in lycra. We foster an inclusive environment with no intimation factor, for young men and women of all skill levels and abilities.
MEMBERSHIP
We have weekly scheduled and ad-hoc rides typically leaving Centennial Park at 5:30am. Our rides are categorised by social, fast and/or long (on the weekends or public holidays). If you’re thinking about joining, we recommend our Thursday Social ride – it’s the best day of the week, always featuring plenty of newcomers and our welcoming ride leaders.
